The Luxton Bandung is uber chic. With glass paneling and designer furniture,
you will feel like you are in a sci fi hotel circa 23rd Century.
The Luxton sits on prime real estate, close to the junction of Jln Riau and Jln Dago.
This is the Mecca for shopping enthusiast.
Rooms are as stylish as the exterior. Wood, granite, with clean lines and hidden lighting.
The rooms are straight out of an interior décor magazine.
The dining area on the 3rd floor had views of Jln Dago and served a good buffet.
Our only complaint was the air-conditioning: it was bitterly cold. No matter, the warm service adequately kept us comfortable.
There are several restaurants within easy walking distance.For earthier food, the cheap and ever popular Gampoeng Aceh is across the road.
Roti Chanai and Teh Tarik 24 hours a day.
We were disappointed by the lack of a pool, surprising for a Hotel of this class.
Overall, it was well worth the splurge.
